Hello, the quest is working. There is a key to the mobs, I was able to open a prison, complete the quest. http://egammi.net/image/SXpA http://egammi.net/image/SXp9 Try to cancel the quest, fix the character, clear the cache. Send screenshots after doing the above that you are failing. |

Results vary with the prison chosen. The Prison closest to the quest giver never shows a gear. see 1st SS: "Look Ma! A key! No Gear!" A farther prison shows a gear (and opens) whether or not I have a key or the quest. See 2nd SS: "Look Ma, no Mage!" taken without quest and without key. Got the quest, got a key, closest prison does not function (this is 1st SS), farther prison opens and has a grateful Mage. This allows quest completion. So it's not the quest that's bugged, it's the prison closest to the quest giver that's bugged. Perhaps the farther prison is also bugged for showing a gear when I didn't have the quest nor the key. After completing the quest, neither the nearest nor the farther prison show a gear, but the farthest one does! No they don't. I've run this quest many times to make sure of what I'm saying. I can't tell which prison you're opening from your SS. The nearest simply never has a gear. That's the solid fact. |

I don't know what this means "the prey from the mage hunter" I won't get a key since I did open the farther prison, and therewith completed the quest. So I don't expect the prisons to show a gear and open to release a mage. If you can change my char's status to "never did this quest", then I can do it again and again (by not completing but abandoning before turn-in) |

This quest is performed when you kill the NPC https://www.wowhead.com/npc=25585 from which the key falls. And you open the cage with this key. He cells even in the official game could be opened without a key and without a quest. But to complete the quest, you need a key. |

Understood. The BUG in this bug report is that the nearest prison does turn mouse pointer into gear. Having a key does not put a gear over the nearest prison. I completed the quest using the farther prison. The problem with the nearest prison remains. |

Checked every prison, gear appears on every prison. The main thing is that you managed to complete the quest. Have a nice game. |
