| Description | Hexweave essence does nothing when used on WOD crafted items. This is the only way to unlock certain transmog skins and all that happens is the item gets consumed, wastes the BOP crafted mats, Savage Blood [which are next to impossible to source atm anyway because the Barn doesn't work], and Sorcerous materials which are limited in terms of daily crafts and WO procs. | ||||

https://www.wowhead.com/item=128012/hexweave-essence#comments Create one of the three base tailoring cloaks for the item level 640 red appearance. Using a Hexweave Essence to bring the cloak's item level to 655 will give you the blue appearance. Using a second Hexweave Essence on the cloak will give you the black item level 670 appearance. Further evolving the cloak after this does not unlock any other appearances/transmog colours. |
