| Description | 25 man Heroic Cataclysm final raid Dragon Soul. Final 2 encounters 'Spine of Deathwing' and 'Madness of Deathwing' were completed but no loot containers spawned for either. Spine of Deathwing on retail would spawn a chest that was lootable after landing on the Maelstrom islands with the Dragon Aspects and Thrall. Madness of Deathwing on retail would spawn Deathwing's Jaw. Neither containers appeared and no items were alternatively located in the in game mail as is the case with some fights like Ragnaros from Firelands. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Complete Spine of Deathwing, observe island after encounter for Dragon Aspect reward chest Complete Madness of Deathwing, observe island with Dragon Aspects and Thrall after encounter for Deathwing's Jaw | ||||
| Additional Information | The Spine of Deathwing encounter currently still triggers the 30 second duration stun that makes progressing through the encounter tedious as it increases the chances of being stunned in a position to spin Deathwing and kill the player[s] present. While this can be mitigated with extremely careful positioning and constantly killing the tentacles to prevent the stun this then causes additional mobs that pick up the corrupted bloods need to overcharge 1 particular mob to remove the armour plates and progress through the encounter. Repeatability of testing will be slowed due to this and an additional request could be made to prevent the stun firing in solo play as was the case in retail in later expansions to aid in farming transmog/mounts from later encounters. | ||||
