| Summary | 0027390: [Raid: Nighthold] High Botanist Tel'arn - Instant reset if fixated player dies. | ||||
| Description | Parasitic Lasher's (NPC ID:112057), Parasitic Fixate (ID:218342), will immediately reset the encounter if the player who they are fixated to, dies. This is something that will VERY easily happen during the encounter. As players may and will die while fixated. Lashers are meant to recast Parasitic Fixate on any other player if they lose their current target due to immunities or dying. And will continue doing so until killed. Video proof of the issue with 2 examples, the first one is a forced example where with a gm character the affected player by fixate is instantly killed, the second example is an accidental death to mechanics while affected by a fixate, both leading to an instantaneous reset of the encounter: https://youtu.be/9N3i71g3HZ8 | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Go to the Nighthold in any difficulty with atleast 2 players. Then proceed to clear you way until you get to High Botanist. Proceed to pull the boss and wait until a player is affected by parasitic Fetter, then dispell this dbuff to spawn the Lashers, afterwards kill/force to die a player after they receive the fixate dbuff from a Lasher. | ||||
