| Description | NPC Name: Colonel Troteman Location: Burning Steppes, Morgan's Vigil. This NPC gives you 3 quests and 3 items that you need to deliver but he fail to give you the disguise, without the disguise you cannot deliver those 3 products because you have to deliver them to .. mobs. | Steps To Reproduce | You get all 3 quests from Colonel Troteman, he gives you 3 products and a disguise (https://www.wowhead.com/item=63357/blackrock-disguise) You need to apply the disguise so you can become friendly with those orcs or whatever they are.. so this way you can enter all 3 caves and deliver those 3 products. But because Colonel Troteman doesn't give that disguise automatically OR by talking to him, those 3 quests are broken. I trying abandoning the quests and retaking, i tried to relog several times... don't work. | ||||
| Additional Information | I'm working on my Eastern Kingdom loremaster and I stumbled across this one, not sure 100% if this will affect or not the quest achievement for Burning Steppes or not, but is a nice quest and is a shame that is broken, because one item is missing. | ||||

New update! When I saw that Colonel Troteman from Morgan's Vigil don't give the disguise, I abandoned the quests and moved to the other camp Chiselgrip. Over here we have another Colonel Troteman who gives you 2 quests + the disguise, since you need it to finish some quest chain. With that I was able to run back to Morgan's Vigil took those 3 quests and completed them. A few moments ago I went back to Morgan's Vigil to give some quests, and when I checked the Colonel I see that NOW he have the option to give you a new diguise if you lost the previous. This means that after you talk and accept the quests from the other Colonel from Chiselgrip both Colonels (Morgan's Vigil + Chiselgrip) share the same option where you can ask him for new disguise. That means, that you can finish those 3 quests if you have some patience to get the disguise from Chiselgrip's Colonel. BUT if is not something hard to do, please make the Colonel from Morgan's Vigil to give that disguise when you accept his 3 quests. Thanks! |
