| Summary | 0017678: Greymanes Gambit: Abandoning the quest before the cutscene makes Stormheim UNDOABLE | ||||
| Description | When doing Greymanes Gambit, there is a period of 4-10 seconds before the cutscene plays where nothing is happening. When you abandon the quest during that time window (which me, an idiot, did - because I thought it bugged and wanted to redo it), you get sent to stormheim but don't have the quest. The portal in dalaran is gone now, there is no place to get back to the flying ship (i tried talking to the admiral in violet citadel and flying to the ship in stormwind). My character (Loomy on the 5x realm) is currently locked from getting the Stormheim intro quest and thus cannot properly progress the story / world quest requirements. | ||||

Just completing said quest on my character would help a lot. |

Chicken fixed it for my character, but others could be affected in the future. My proposal is to not change phases until "Greymanes Gambit" is turned IN, not accepted. That way the portal and skyfire are still accessible and you can't bug out. |

Good day! I have approved that if you cancel movie in quest https://www.wowhead.com/quest=39800 then you wont be teleported instanly, but eventually you will. And quest will be completed for you. If you abandon quest then you can meet that bug. |

Yea, thats why I opened the issue :) Abandoning brings you into a very bad state ^^ |
